DevExpress Universal Patch v5.1 Metro Edition

This patch brakes licensing mechanism of DevExpress products (both components and IDE tools). It works in memory at design time. In this version of patch no assemblies changes.
This patch is provided AS IS, no warranties, use it for your own risk. Use it for research purpose only. If you like DevExpress products you should buy them.
If you have installed my previous patch or any other patches you should uninstall them before using this one.

NEW FEATURES
·You can check patch status within Visual Studio directly. To check the patching status of your projects click ‘DevExpress Patch Status’ in ‘Tools’ menu of VS. The status will be printed in Output window, this window will be shown automatically. If this menu item not visible check that add-in exist in Add-in manager window, close Visual Studio, open Visual Studio Command Promt and type “devenv /resetaddin DevExpress.Patch.VSConnect” (without quotes).
·Visual Studio 11 support (experimental).
·There are no need to run VS with administrative privileges now.

Q: Witch versions of DevExpress products this patch support?
A: It supports all existing 2009.X.X – 2011.X.X versions.
Q: What kinds of DevExpress products this patch support?
A: It supports all kinds of DevExpress products.
Q: Will it works with new DevExpress releases?
A: Maybe. After installing new version of DevExpress products run this patch, go to License Manager and click Apply button.
Q: When I build my existing project it shows nag screen at runtime or errors when building. What’s wrong?
A: Delete “licenses.licx” file from your project and then open all visual designers of your project in Visual Studio and then rebuild it.
Q: Whether additional actions to run my application at the client machine are required?
A: No.
Q: Patch is not working for projects in source control.
A: Check if ‘licenses.licx’ file is writable in your project. Execute “check-out for edit” command to make it writeable.
Q: Patch was installed without any errors, but it’s not working for me.
A: Check for a patch status and ask me for help.
